  • Recommendation:

    That West Elgin Council hereby adopts the Agenda as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    That Council proceed into Court of Revision for the Krause Drain at ______  a.m. pursuant to the Drainage Act, R.S.O. 1990.

  • Recommendation:

    That the Minutes of the Council meeting on December 16, 2021 be adopted as circulated and printed.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Elgin Council hereby receives the report from Jackie Morgan-Beunen, CBO re: Building Permit Report for December 2021 for information purposes.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Elgin Council hereby receives the report from Jeff McArthur, Fire Chief re: December Monthly Fire Report for information purposes.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Elgin Council hereby receives the report from Tom Mohan, Drainage Superintended re: Award Krause Drain Tender; and

    That West Elgin Council hereby awards the tender to the lowest bidder McNally Excavating Ltd. In the amount of $140,900.00 plus applicable taxes.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Elgin Council hereby receives the report from Bryan Pearce, regarding Housekeeping Amendment to the Zoning By-law – Consideration to Proceed Request (Planning Report 2022-01);

    And that West Elgin Council provides preliminary input on the proposed amendment and authorizes Administration to proceed with a Statutory Public Meeting for the housekeeping amendment, in order to solicit public consultation and bring back future recommendations for Council to make a decision.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Elgin Council hereby receives the report from M. Badura, CAO/Treasurer re: COVID-19 Vaccination Policy Update; and

    That West Elgin Council approves the amendments to HR 2.35 COVID-19 Vaccination Verification Policy as attached.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Elgin Council hereby receives the report from Magda Badura, CAO/Treasurer and Jana Nethercott, Clerk re: Administration Monthly Report for December 2021 for information purposes

  • Recommendation:

    That the Mayor and Treasurer are hereby authorized to sign Payment Voucher #1 amounting to $ $2,206,095.88 in settlement of General, Road, Water and Arena Accounts including EFT#44672-4752, online Payments# 837-852, cheque# 25828-25847 and Payroll PP25/26.

  • January 20 - Committee of the Whole - Budget Meeting #1 at 9:30 am 
  • January 25 - Tri-County Water Board at 7 pm
  • January 27 - Council at 9:30 am
  • February 3 - Committee of the Whole - Budget Meeting #2 at 9:30 am (if necessary)

  • Recommendation:

    That By-law 2021-71 being A By-Law to provide for the Krause Drain in the Municipality of West Elgin, be read a third and final time. 

  • Recommendation:

    That By-Law 2022-01 being a By-Law to Constitute and Appoint a Committee of Adjustment for the Municipality of West Elgin, be read a first, second and third and final time. 

  • Recommendation:

    That By-law 2022-02 being a By-law to confirm the proceeding of the Regular Meeting of Council held on January 13, 2022, be read a first, second and third and final time. 

  • Recommendation:

    That the Council of the Municipality of West Elgin hereby adjourn at ________ to meet again at 9:30 a.m. on January 27, 2022 or at the call of the Chair.
