• Recommendation:

  That West Elgin Council hereby adopts the Agenda as presented.

Staff Reports

• Recommendation:

  That West Elgin Council hereby approve the purchase of $25 gift cards and or product as prizes, up to a maximum of $500 for two Summer Fun Contests to be run in July and August of 2020.

M. Badura - COVID-19 Policies 

These policies are in draft format due to the fact that this pandemic is a dynamic situation, with evolving Provincial and Public Health guidelines.  Staff have been following these guidelines and the directives from the Province of Ontario, Ministry of Labour and Southwestern Public Health.  

• Recommendation:

  That West Elgin Council hereby approve the COVID-19 Guidelines as presented; and

  That West Elgin Council grant Administration approval to adjust these guidelines on an as needed basis based on changes provided by the Province of Ontario and Southwestern Public Health.

• Recommendation:

  That West Elgin Council hereby receives the report from J. Nethercott, Clerk re: Use of Technology for Council Meetings for information purposes.

Summer Contest

• Recommendation:

  That West Elgin Council hereby approve the purchase of $25 gift cards and/or product from local businesses, as prizes for the Summer Contests to be held in July and August to promote local businesses, to a maximum of $500 from Council Grants Account.

Confirming By-law

• Recommendation:

  That By-law 2020-46, being a by-law to confirm the proceeding of the Special Council Meeting on June 18, 2020, be read a first, second and third and final time.

Adjournment

• Recommendation:

  That West Elgin Council hereby adjourn the Special Meeting of Council at ______ a.m. to meet again at 9:30 a.m. on June 25, 2020 or at the call of the Chair.
