Call to Order

Chair Taraesa Tellier called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

Adoption of Agenda

  That West Elgin Recreation Committee hereby adopts the agenda as circulated.

  That the West Elgin Recreation Committee adopts the minutes of May 17, 2023 as printed and circulated.

Business Arising from Minutes

Canada Day Celebration Update and Discussion

An update was provided to the committee from Municipal staff outlining the planned events, timeframes, volunteers and secondary plan in the event of inclement weather. A final draft of the day would be sent to the Committee.

Rodney Park Discussion

Taraesa Tellier advised the Recreation Committee that there are members of the Rodney community that will be putting together a Rodney Park Committee, with the intensions of revitalizing the Rodney Park.
